Rare item in this condition.Totally original inc a rare Robert Barron 1778 patent tumbler lock.The outside is plain and metal bound (could be polished).Inside is a wonderful array of veneers and inlays,inc walnut,ivory,rosewood,coromandle etc.Selection of drawers line each side,these slide across in layered blocks.Storage area under the drawers.Over the years,I have had a few of these,this is the best.It would have been owned and used by a master Georgian cabinet maker/ carpenter.Large at 97x65x62 cms.It would make an excellent coffee table etc.
