Really good example of this artists work (they vary a lot).Watercolour capturing Conway,Wales.67x47 cms inc frame.Joseph Hughes Clayton was a prominent member of the Royal Cambrian Academy in the late 19th century. He worked mainly on the North Wales coast and Anglesey producing sentimental studies of the fishing community particularly at Cemaes Bay where he owned a cottage.
